Narrative: Crews responded to a reported electrical fire. They were met on-scene by TPD who had one person in custody. Upon investigation they found evidence that the person was trying to steal electrical wiring and had caused arcing in an electrical box. Crews confirmed that the fire was out, and had Tacoma Power secure the power to the building. Date: 3/3

Narrative: Firefighters responded to a reported house fire and upon arrival found a fire had started in the basement near the furnace. Crews worked quickly to knock the fire down and ventilate the heavy layer smoke from the basement. There were no injuries to report. Date: 3/3
