Narrative: Firefighters responded to a reported fire in the mechanical room of the commercial occupancy. Upon arrival they determined that a water pump had malfunctioned and started to emit sparks that charred a plywood box the pump was set on. The crew confirmed the fire was out, checked the area with a Thermal Imaging Camera to look for extension, and had staff cut power to the pump at the electrical panel. Date: 3/16/13
