Narrative:  An air compressor and plastic housing caught fire in the back of motor vehicle (recreational vehicle).

Narrative:  Firefighters extinguished a mattress fire in a possible homeless encampment.

Narrative:  Firefighters extinguished an electrical fire in the trunk of a motor vehicle (car fire).

Narrative:  Crews responded to a reported electrical fire.  They were met on-scene by TPD who had one person in custody.  Upon investigation they found evidence that the person was trying to steal electrical wiring and had caused arcing in an electrical box.  Crews confirmed that the fire was out, and had Tacoma Power secure the power to the building.

Narrative:  Firefighters responded to a reported house fire and upon arrival found a fire had started in the basement near the furnace.  Crews worked quickly to knock the fire down and ventilate the heavy layer smoke from the basement.  There were no injuries to report.

Narrative:  An occupant cooking with a high BTU burner accidently caught an exterior deck railing on fire.  The fire was extinguished by the occupant and neighbors, and firefighters used a Thermal Imaging Camera to ensure there was no fire spread.
