Narrative:  Firefighters responded to a reported fire in a light fixture in a hallway of a day care facility. Crews disconnected the power and ventilated the light smoke from the building.

Narrative:  Firefighters responded to a stove fire.  Upon investigation it appears that the oven burner shorted out.  Firefighters disconnected the power and removed the stove.

Narrative:  A working smoke detector alerted occupants to a smoldering mattress fire. Upon investigation it appears that an improperly discarded cigarette started the fire. Crews removed the mattress, extinguished the fire and ventilated the smoke.

Narrative:  Crews responded to a reported house fire.  The first arriving engine company found smoke and flames showing from an upstairs bedroom of the 2 story 1,950 square foot single family residence. Firefighters attacked the fire with handlines, conducted a search to confirm no one was trapped in the building, and ventilated the smoke from the structure. The fire displaced three occupants, and there were no injuries to report.  The cause of the fire was improperly discarded smoking materials.
